My Weird Obsession with the 70s - 00s

Hello everyone, and welcome to my first ever blog post!

For todays blog post, lets cover my weird and wonderful 70s, 80s, 90s, and 00s obsession. From here forwards, I will refer to this as the golden age.

To start off, I LOVE golden age music, especially rock and pop! Now, this can range drastically, going from 70s rock, to 80s pop, to the 00s hip-hop. There are some artists that I recessarily enjoy, like Queen, Avril Lavigne, Smash Mouth, Blink-182, AC/DC, The Beatles, Guns N' Roses, Wham, Weezer, The Black Eyed Peas, Nirvana, NSYNC, Britney Spears, etc. For me, listening to that music really takes me back to those ages, and I really wish I was there to really have that experience of those agesm and I 100% would want to be born in the 80s! That way, I would not be too old when 2020 rolls around I could experience the new age of technology and Artificial Intelligence. The only downsides would be living in South Africa during apartheid, possibly becoming racist in the process, the AIDS pandemic, the 80s debt crisis, inflation and unemployment crisis, severe Africa droughts, the Indian Ocean earthquake, Hurricane Katrina, the Rwandan Genocides, Iraq and Afghanistan wars, and so on.

I do have an idea about making a short film about the main character being 16 in 2024 and finding a way to teleport back to the year 2001 and they meet their parents, experience high school in the 2000s etc. It would be fun to research and have a day in the life kind of thing!

Anyways, thats it for today. I need to finis watching Venom!
